As a home care provider, we encourage independence and confidence in our service users, and we believe feeling good and well in yourself plays a big part in this.
Personal care is a service that helps our clients “feel good”, it could be something many of us take for granted such as difficulty bathing, washing, dressing and toileting. Help may be required be obliged to old age, injury, infection and may be temporary or permanent in nature.
Care staff aid and personal care on a day-to-day basis to maintain the persons hygiene level promoting their confidence and in turn their independence. This includes showering, shaving and applying topical ointments.
